Joshua King, ACSM-Certified Personal Trainer

Joshua King, ACSM-Certified Personal Trainer, Chief Fitness Officer

Joshua King, ACSM-CPT

Personal trainer Joshua King, originally from Pittsburgh, PA, has been heavily involved in health and fitness for over 15 years. He is a veteran of the United States Navy, serving as a Navy Diver. Maintaining elite physical shape was a necessary component of his career. After choosing to continue on as a civilian commercial diver, he decided to redirect his efforts to his true passion, helping people reach their fitness goals. Through this, he created his business, NVR Down Fitness. 


NVR Down Fitness is built on motivating others to stay in shape and improve their overall quality of life. After completing Southwestern College’s Fitness Professional Program, he decided to continue his education with a desire to become a Registered Dietitian. Upon degree completion, he will be able to bring a well-rounded experience to his clients to ensure that they are approaching their fitness goals properly, both inside and outside of the gym.  


His clients thus far have ranged from professional hockey players, UFC fighters, Navy SEALS, all the way to 10 year old kids just learning to appreciate their health. Being multi-dimensional is something that he prides himself on so that he can help anyone that comes his way.

Your Goal Is My Goal. Joshua is dedicated to client success as his goal is to change your view on fitness so that it becomes a part of who you are and your daily lifestyle. The belief is that after training with him, you will be able to practice healthy, sustainable habits, obtain a healthier and better functioning lifestyle, and work harder than ever imagined. Working with clients to keep them on track through their entire fitness journey and igniting their internal motivation is the primary philosophy when it comes to training with him.
